The gorgeous wife of President Donald Trump was ripped apart on Twitter by people angry about her outfit.
Melania was at her husband’s side on Tuesday night when he delivered his first address to congress in a speech praised as thoughtful and statesmanlike.
But her choice of a black Michael Kors skirt suit upset some viewers who were angry it had sequins on it.
According to the furious Twitter mob, sequins are an “inappropriate” thing to be worn to a prestigious joint address.
One person furiously tweeted: “You can’t wear sequins to a joint address, Melania!! This isn’t New Years Eve #JoinAddress.”
Another said: “Who wears black sequins to Congress? Where are you going after the speech Melania, da club? #JointAddress.”
However, a number of people were quick to jump to the 46-year-old’s defence, saying she looked beautiful and elegant.
This isn’t the first time Melania has faced the wrath of sensitive Twitter users.
A social media campaign was even started to “free Melania” after she was accused of looking awkward and uncomfortable next to her husband.
The #FreeMelania first went viral during Trump’s inauguration after the couple shared a dance during a fancy ball.
